In the past, in the sky lived a moon
I appreciated every night
When I was down, and when I was weary
the moon was there to shine
In times I eager that time might fly
I, there to observe the moon
There was a time I looked to the sky
every single night fascinated by that moon
In this time, in the sky still lives a moon
however the blanket tonight seemed dull
gathering of stars became shrunken
and I in my heart, struggled to not cry over
the Absent Moon
Where is it, now that I need company?
How I admired its shape, appreciated its beauty
now it is absent when it should be crescent
